Amanda Aronson is the Founder and Principal Consultant of StoryB, an international research and consulting firm that helps mission-driven organizations and communities drive lasting social change.

For over 25 years, Amanda has partnered with education systems, healthcare and human services organizations, philanthropic institutions, and government agencies to strengthen operations and social impact.

She has designed programs, guided organizational change, and developed AI-informed fundraising and digital marketing strategies grounded in mixed-methods research to translate lived experience into practical insights.

Amanda is currently producing Women’s Work, an international public anthropology project documenting how collective action enables women’s economic independence and supports women-led responses to shared global challenges.

Beyond her professional work, Amanda has a long history of civic leadership, contributing to organizations and initiatives that advance education, equity, and philanthropy. She serves as a Board Ambassador for Greater Hartford Gives (formerly the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, one of the oldest public foundations in the U.S.) and co-chairs its Greater Futures Scholarship Campaign, the first capital campaign in the organization’s 100-year history. She also serves as co-chair of the Women of Elon Advisory Council. Previously, Amanda served as an elected member and officer of the West Hartford Board of Education, guiding collaborative decision-making and leading policy initiatives during a period of significant public challenge. Her past public service includes work with the Connecticut Governor’s Council for Women & Girls, and she has supported numerous nonprofit boards in strengthening governance, strategy, and fundraising efforts.

Amanda is a citizen of both Canada and the United States. She earned a M.Ed. from Lesley University, a B.A. in International Studies from Elon University, and is a graduate of EMERGE Connecticut.
